Daang Hari Extension to Tanza

The Daang Hari-SLEX Link Road is among the government's priority to be implemented under BOT Law through the solited mode.

The project is located in the Province of Cavite which is one of the most rapidly growing areas around Metro Manila. Population growth, coupled with industrial and commercial development, has brought about serious traffic congestion in the area.

The Cavite-Laguna (CALA) Transport Study has developed a transport strategy, formulated a medium-term corollary transport investment program and identified priority transport projects for funding and implementation for the CALA region. Among the transport projects for CALA region, the East-West road from Tanza to Muntinlupa was identified as one of the priority road projects in the network. Moreover, it was envisioned as the southern link component of the proposed C6 Expressway under the Metro Manila Urban Expressway Network Study.

as conceptualized in the CALA Transport Study, the Tanza-Muntinlupa Highway is a 30-km road alignment that starts from the Laguna de Bay shorelines area of Muntinlupa and will run through a westerly direction towards Tanza, Cavite.
